Have you thought about mulch much?

Mulch is like that person who quietly does his job, like the guy who washes the windows at the strip mall. You never think about who keeps the grime off those huge plate-glass panes until you spot him doing it. You look while you walk by, and then it drops from your mind. The thought of what the windows would look like if no one cleaned them never even crosses your mind.

Mulch is like that guy. It has the unfortunate status of often ranking below an after-thought. It's sad, really. But life is too short to feel bad for cedar chips. So here is what you need to know: Mulch is an unsung hero who only has to be thought about once – now. Get some. Go with the red, why not? It's the sexiest looking mulch out there. Let it do its job – cut down on weeds, keep moisture in the ground around your plants and look good. You're done.
